Fundamentals

Our Fundamental programs have two separate streams that focus on encouraging children to love tennis while building confidence towards competing; Try It and Play It.

ATC uses the ROG (Red/Orange/Green) system of scaled ball and courts designed for the size and age of the child (Like ‘T-ball’ and mini-soccer). This system is used internationally by all the top tennis nations.

Designed for players with little or no experience to learn how to serve, rally and score. These are introduction to tennis programs that are scheduled once per week and run for one season (Fall/Winter/Spring).

Designed for players with tennis experience who can already serve, rally & score. The program develops foundational skills to play successful tennis for life. The program is scheduled like other sports with a 2 practices a week (after school week-days) and a ‘game-day’. Player Skills Assessments (PSA) is required to play 2.0 or higher.

Fun Match Play is coach-supervised tennis where players are paired to play together and against each other. Fun match play that is highly recommended for furthering development. Players must be approved by coaching staff.
