Everyone Can Play Tennis Program
ALL WE NEED IS ‘U’
Everyone Can Play Tennis Program is an inclusive and equitable non-profit tennis program for new and under resourced Canadians in Calgary, Alberta. Tennis provides an optimal environment for new Canadians to learn skills, improve physical health, develop cultural understandings, and make social connections.
This year’s Gala offers two ticket options:
- Gala Ticket includes: Admission to the Tennis Exhibition with Canada’s top Tennis professionals, live and silent auction, live entertainment, culinary display from the Concorde Group on Oct 11 and ability to participate in the Pro/Am tournament on Oct 12. ($250)
- Exhibition Ticket includes: Admission to the Tennis Exhibition with Canada’s Top Tennis professionals battling it out for the win. ($90)
PROGRAM BENEFITS
- Deliver tennis at no cost or heavily subsidized to new Canadian families.
- Identify new potential coaches and employment opportunities for coaches.
- Provide training grants for new Canadians on an annual basis and integrate new Canadians into club programming.
- Complimentary programming, coaching and equipment
- Offered in multiple locations with language support and subsidizing the cost of travel, if necessary
FUNDRAISING
Fundraising will begin prior to the Calgary National Bank Challenger at the Everyone Can Play Gala which will be host to Calgary’s most influential business men and women.
ATC has partnered with the Newcomers Centre, Kid Sport and Kids Up Front to find qualified individuals and families to participate in our Everyone Can Play Tennis Program.
