MEMO: CLUB UPDATE – STAGE 2 REOPENING PLAN

Dear Member, Program Participant and Staff Member,

Today the Premier of Alberta Jason Kenney, announced that Alberta will move to Stage 2 of its Open for Summer Reopening Plan on June 10th. Details on today’s announcement can be found here.

EFFECTIVE JUNE 10th – the following activities will be permitted as part of Stage 2: INDOORS & OUTDOORS

• Singles and Doubles play will be permitted with members of any household.
• Private, Semi-private, Group of 3 and Group of 4 instruction will be permitted with 3-meters distancing.
• Group activities will resume as previously scheduled for adult and junior players with 3-meters distancing.
• League Play is permitted for adults and junior players.
• Use of ball machine, service practice is permitted.
• Gyms and indoor fitness open for solo and drop-in activities with 3-metre distancing between participants, fitness classes may resume with 3-metre distancing.
• Distancing and masking requirements remain in effect.

NOTE: Given the lack of information from the Government of Alberta on spectators, at this time we have made the decision to only allow spectators in Stage 3 (effective July 1st). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our membership and the public are once again permitted to play indoors and outdoors starting on June 10th. Online court booking for indoor play, will be made available to our membership starting tomorrow June 8th, at 7:00 am.

If you are registered for a league, our Member Services Desk will be contacting you in advance of June 10th. Leagues will commence effective June 10th.

SUMMER PLAY PASS – Discount

The Summer Play Pass is now available for purchase. The summer play pass will be discounted 5% due to the interruption of indoor tennis. If you previously purchased a summer play pass a 5% credit will be applied to your account. A member may purchase the summer play pass at the Member Services Desk or via telephone.
