On Saturday, June 8, 2019 we hosted the ATC Year End Charity social to support Denise Poirier and her family. The Poirier family is going through a difficult time and we were thrilled when member Michelle Waddock approached us about doing a joint yoga & tennis event to try and raise some money for one of our tennis community members.

We set an aggressive goal to raise $5,000.00 and completely surpassed it. In total, the campaign raised $7,682.00! This was from a combination of ticket sales, cash donations, and silent auction items.

Thank you to Michelle & Kristine from Pure Hot Yoga for hosting an amazing all ages court side class, to all of the tennis coaches who donated their time to coach clinics & organize play, Jason Balakas from The Park who generously donated food for the event, Willow Park Wines & Spirits and finally everyone who donated an item for the auction, bought a ticket & came to the event!

It is amazing to see how tight the tennis community is in Alberta and that when push comes to shove, we can rely on our community when we need them.
