DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Annual ATC Doubles Club Championships for 2024. We are looking forward to another year of friendly competition and great tennis amongst our adult members. (This event is exclusively for current adult members of the Osten & Victor Alberta Tennis Centre.) \nThe tournament will start Saturday Sept 21st and run until Sunday Sept 29th. All players must be available to play from 5pm on a weekday and from 8am weekends during the tournament dates. \nENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday\, Sept 15th \nAll ATC Members Doubles Players will need the following link to enter:\nhttps://app.utrsports.net/events/257153?_ref=adamb836&shared=true \nThis event will comprise of 9 draws for; men’s women’s\, and mixed doubles\, being:\nWomen’s Doubles – Open\, B and C draws\nMen’s Doubles – Open\, B and C draws\nMixed Doubles – Open\, B and C draws \nThe playing level categories for each event are:\nOpen – 5.0+\nB – 4.0-4.9\nC – 2.0-3.9 \nPlease Note: \n\nPlayers are only allowed to enter one category of men’s or women’s doubles. Two events can be entered if one of them is the mixed doubles event. Two rounds of each draw could played in one day\, depending on entry numbers.\nPlayers are not allowed to play in other tournaments over the same dates.\nPlayers are responsible for finding their own partners and will need to register together.\nPlayers playing together must both be eligible for the category they are entering. For example\, a 3.5 playing with a 4.5 player must enter the B draw (4.0-4.9) together.\nA consolation draw will be played\, court time permitting.\n\nThe club championships 2024 will be run in accordance with the Tennis Canada rules of the court. \nIf you have any questions about which draws are most suitable for you don’t hesitate to ask your Tennis Pro at the club\, or contact Nick Coutts or Adam Bond.
